A Corporate Event Venue in Orlando That Solves the Catering Problem
The part of corporate events that always goes wrong
It is never the room. Rooms are easy to find in Orlando. It is the food.
The standard corporate event runs on catering delivered from somewhere else, which means a delivery window instead of a delivery time, a fee for the privilege, chafing dishes lit twenty minutes before service, and chicken that has been in a metal box since 10:40 AM. Somebody on your team ends up personally responsible for whether lunch shows up, and that person is not paid to do that.
The Edgewater Room shares a building and a full commercial kitchen with the restaurant next door. Food is cooked here and carried about twenty feet. There is no delivery fee, there is no delivery window, and it arrives hot because it did not travel. You can also taste the exact menu before you sign anything, which turns catering from a gamble into a decision.
Almost no event venue in this city has a working kitchen on site. It is the whole reason this page exists.
What we host
Holiday parties. December fills first. The room seats 100 at tables with a bar fronted in black and brass, a statement chandelier, and a low stage for awards or a few words from leadership. Book by September if you want a good December date.
Team appreciation lunches and dinners. Weekday, no minimum spend, food that people talk about afterward. This is the easiest thing we do well.
Training days and offsites. Long tables, two TV screens, WiFi, house sound, free parking directly outside, and a lunch that does not require anyone to leave the building or manage a vendor. Six-hour minimum covers a full working day.
Product launches and open houses. 130 standing, white walls that take color uplighting ($250), a custom printed backdrop at $250, and a bar. Passed hors d’oeuvres rather than a seated meal keeps people circulating.
Networking and mixers. Standing format, a bartender at $75 an hour or a beer and wine open bar at $950 for four hours, and a room that reads as intentional rather than borrowed.
Procurement, plainly
We will provide a W-9, an itemized invoice and a signed contract. We can work with company payment terms rather than insisting on a personal card.
The structure is simple. A $500 non-refundable retainer holds the date and comes off the balance. Half the remaining balance is due 60 days out, the rest 21 days before. A $300 refundable damage deposit is returned within 7 business days. Dates are bookable up to 18 months out, which covers most annual planning cycles.
Pricing is published, weekday and weekend, on the packages page. You can build a budget without a discovery call.
The weekday argument
Monday through Thursday there is no minimum total spend and the rental rate is lower. Friday and Saturday carry a $3,000 minimum total spend, with rental, food, bar and add-ons all counting toward it. Sunday events starting after 4 PM are billed at weekday rates.
For most corporate use, weekday is not a compromise. It is when your people are already working.
What every package includes
Tables and chairs for 100. An event host on site for the entire rental, so questions go to us rather than to your office manager. Setup before you arrive and cleaning after you leave, both outside your booked hours. The pleated gray drape backdrop, house sound, two TV screens, free on-site parking, WiFi, step-free access and accessible restrooms.
Chairs are never a line item here. Venues advertising the same 100 capacity will quote you $4.50 per chair on top of the room.
Sizing the package
Venue Only is the room and everything above, with no food, for teams bringing their own or buying catering separately. Buffet drop-off in the room is $32 a person.
Diamond is where most corporate bookings land. Three staff, four hours of DJ and full sound (useful for a holiday party, ignorable for a training day), color uplighting, a three-item hors d’oeuvres station, an open bar with beer, wine and mimosas, premium linens with chair sashes, custom welcome signage, and food for 50. Additional guests are $45 each for food and $20 for bar.
For a board dinner, an awards night or anything client-facing, the Presidential packages cover 50, 75 or 100 all-inclusive: full catering with three mains, three sides, salad and dessert, a four-hour open bar, a dedicated coordinator, two hours of photography, 50 printed invitations and a red carpet.
Catering packages run $50 to $75 a person with a 50-guest minimum. The 18% service fee covers staff for up to three hours, full setup and complete breakdown. Nobody from your company clears a table.
Practical notes
Events end at midnight, extendable to 1 AM for $150 an hour, arranged in advance. Security for six hours is $350 and valet is $600 if the guest list calls for it. Outside vendors, including your own AV contractor or agency, are always welcome at no fee. House rules are short: no glitter, no confetti, nothing taped to floors, nothing affixed to walls, no open flame.
Book a site visit on a weekday and we will feed you while you are here.

Questions
About corporate events here.
Can you invoice us and provide a W-9?
Yes. We will send a W-9, an itemized invoice and a signed contract for your procurement or finance team, and we can work with standard company payment terms. The $500 retainer still holds the date and applies to the balance.
What is included for presentations?
Two TV screens, house sound with Bluetooth and aux, WiFi and a low convertible stage, all included in every package. Bring a laptop and a clicker. If you need a specific input or a rehearsal slot, tell us in advance and we will test it with you.
Is weekday availability realistic?
Very. Monday through Thursday is our quietest time, the rental rate is lower and there is no minimum total spend. Training days, client lunches and team meetings are exactly what those days are for.
How many people fit, and in what layouts?
100 seated at tables, 130 standing for a reception. Rounds for a dinner or a holiday party, long tables for a training day, theater style facing the stage for a presentation, or open floor for networking. Tell us the format when you book.
Can we do a cash bar or a limited drinks tab?
Both. All alcohol is served by our licensed, insured bartenders under our license. You can run a hosted bar, cap it at a spend, do beer and wine only, or hand out drink tickets. Bartenders are $75 an hour.
