A Repast Venue in Orlando That Can Take You This Week

Call us. We will move quickly.

Most of this website is about parties. This page is not.

When a family needs a room and a meal after a service, the last thing that helps is a booking funnel, a proposal in twenty-four business hours, and a venue that cannot fit you in for six weeks. So for repasts and memorial receptions we do it differently: you call, we answer, and in one conversation you have a room, a menu and a number.

The six-hour minimum does not apply. Most repasts run three or four hours and we price them that way.

A private room, and food that is actually hot

The Edgewater Room holds up to 130 guests, with tables and chairs for 100 and a kitchen in the same building. That last part matters more here than anywhere else on this site. Food for a repast tends to arrive lukewarm in foil trays from somewhere across town. Ours comes out of our own kitchen twenty feet away, hot, plated or on a buffet line, served by our staff.

The room is quiet, private and separate from the restaurant’s takeout counter, with its own entrance. Free parking directly outside, step-free access throughout, and accessible restrooms, which matters when a lot of your guests are elderly.

The meal

Bon Appetit Grill has cooked repast meals for Orlando families for years. Soup joumou. Bouyon. Diri ak pwa, legim, griot, poul nan sos, macaroni au gratin, bannann peze, salad. Fruit, cake, coffee and juice. If your family serves something specific, tell us and we will cook it.

If you would rather keep it simple, a buffet at $32 a person delivered and set in the room is often exactly right. If you want it staffed and cleared, our full catering packages start at $50 a person and include setup and complete breakdown, so no one in your family is stacking chairs afterward.

What we handle so you do not have to

  • Setting the room and clearing it completely
  • Serving, refilling and clearing plates
  • A table for photographs, flowers or a memory display
  • Screens, if you want to show a slideshow
  • Coffee and juice service throughout
  • Anything left over, packed properly for the family to take home

One phone call

There is no form on this page on purpose. Call us, tell us the day and roughly how many people, and we will tell you straightaway whether we can hold the room. If we cannot, we will say so immediately rather than leaving you waiting.

Questions

About repasts and memorial receptions here.

How quickly can you take a repast?

Often within the same week, and sometimes within days. Call us rather than filling in a form. Our kitchen has served repast meals for Orlando families for years and we know this cannot wait on a booking calendar.

Do we have to book six hours?

No. The six-hour minimum is waived for repasts and memorial receptions. Most run three to four hours and we price them that way.

What does the room cost for a repast?

It depends on the hours and the headcount, and we will give you a real number on the phone in one conversation. We do not run families through a quote process at a time like this.

Can you serve a traditional Haitian repast meal?

Yes. Soup joumou, diri ak pwa, legim, griot, bouyon, whatever your family serves. Tell us what your mother would have made and we will cook it.

Is there parking, and is the room accessible?

Free parking directly outside, step-free entry throughout, and accessible restrooms. Elderly guests will not have to navigate stairs.

Come and stand in the room.

Tours are by appointment and we answer within four business hours.
